My family and I were traveling in Florida and visited the Orlando area during the two week period from July 18 to July 31. During that time, my 2000 Mercury Sable experienced a few issues whereby I needed to visit a Ford parts department to purchase parts. I searched and found Tropical Ford, which was nearby my hotel. I proceeded to your parts department on Friday, July 23 and was greeted by Mr. Lenny Saucier.

Mr. Saucier spent a considerable amount of time assisting me. I explained to him that we were from out of town. He came out to my vehicle to match up what I needed in order to place a special order for parts. He was extremely courteous, professional, and went the extra mile by reaching out to me the next morning with a courtesy call to inform me that the parts had arrived.

Individuals such as Mr. Saucier are the ones who help a business thrive. Based on my experience during that time, I would not hesitate to recommend Tropical Ford dealership and parts department; if I were ever to move in the Orlando area, I would end up as a repeat customer thanks to him.

Just purchased a 2008 lincoln mkx and drove back to PA. very nice vehicle. being in the transportation business i have to tell you Cindy was one of the greatest salesperson i ever dealt with and i deal with them on a regular basis. Wish they were all like her. I def. will return to Florida and purchase addition vehicles from her.

I want to take this moment out to thank each and every one of you for the extreme courtesy you applied to my wife and my self in the purchase of the Ford Fusion. It is indeed a marvelous vehicle and something we will cherish from the day we first looked at it.

 

Our daughter had bought a new Jaguar several months ago and was impressed at how much the inside instrument panel was similar to hers. She really thinks it’s a beautiful automobile, and we couldn’t agree more. And yes she knows that Jag’s are Ford as well.

 

I have to also admit that I was veering away from buying American automobiles. But if Ford continues this route in respect to competing with Japanese and/ or German cars, American cars will out do them 100%.

Dear Tropical Ford,

 

I would like to take this opportunity to commend your dealership and fleet salesman. The fleet salesman was excellent in the recent rush purchase of a Mustang GT by the North Miami Beach Police Department.

 

In April our department received a state “Aggressive Driving” grant which called for an American built vehicle with rear wheel drive, and felt that a Mustang GT was the best choice for this project. We contacted your fleet department to inquire about piggy backing on another city’s vehicle bid that your dealership had. Your fleet salesman was more than happy to help us out, but we encountered a problem on that same day. Your salesman advised us that we had to order the vehicle that same day because the cut off time was 3:00 pm. He did not panic like we did, he suggested a letter from me indicating we had all the intentions to buy the Mustang and he would order the vehicle based on our promise letter. The letter was faxed to him and the car was ordered.

 

Both your dealership and Equip Tech have been more than helpful to my department to help us out in this very stressful situation, with emergency lights and sirens, etc. The North Miami Beach Police Department strives to be the very best law enforcement agency and I can say the same for your business and your Fleet salesman. He is a true professional and certainly committed to making your organization a better place to work in and certainly an asset to the Tropical Ford family.

To Ford Management,

 

I am writing to thank your management at Tropical Ford for CHOOSING to help me with a problematic and specific car purchase. Your General Sales Manager and Finance manager pulled together to get me out of a New F-250 4X4 off road I had purchased in Tallahassee 470 miles earlier and into a new F-250 4X4.

 

Because of a shoulder problem, the off road package was hurting me and I was traveling back to my home in Key Largo. I just had to get out of that truck.

 

Your management team worked the numbers so I would lose the least amount of money and I really appreciated what they did for me.

 

After a hurricane battered Southern Florida and the Ford dealers in South Florida had no inventory of F-250 extended cab short beds. In a panic I picked bought a truck in Tallahassee while I was up there visiting and drove it off the lot after hours (sight unseen).

 

Within 100 miles I was in great discomfort. When I approached Orlando I located your Ford dealer and waited in the parking lot till they opened.

 

Within a couple of hours, your management team had me in a truck that worked for me, and I was continuing on my way home 6 hours down the road.

 

You need to know that they worked real hard to make a deal work and It wasn’t easy as I had an A-plan pricing. They did not have to do this.

 

I continue to be a loyal Ford fan.

 

Just know that telling me “NO” was a much easier option and they choose instead to say “YES”.

I am a single mom and a 3 time Breast Cancer survivor. I have three children the youngest of which is only 10. This was a very difficult decision to make to purchase a vehicle at a time when I wasn’t prepared. Without the assistance of a couple of your sales staff I wouldn’t have my new vehicle. The salesmen were very kind and understanding in my situation. I greatly appreciate their assistance.

While Traveling on I-4 in route to Marriott’s Grand Vista in Orlando, Florida our 2001

Ford F-150 very suddenly developed a problem.

 

Upon arriving at our resort, the young man there gave us directions to your dealership and called to inform you that we were on our way there. When we arrived, we spoke with Mike your service advisor. He made us an appointment for the next morning and assured us that repairs would be made while we waited.

Dear Tropical Ford,

 

I would like to share my experience at Tropical Ford to you personally.

I had a leased 2 door Explorer sport which was the first Ford I had in my name. 3 years ago Ford told me that if I was willing to help them to pay a little more now because I had no credit history that they would help me out in the future. These words have never been so true!

I recently relocated to Orlando and my husband started taking our truck to your dealership for quarterly oil changes. He said he always received nice service and quickly. So naturally when we had to turn in the leased truck we went to Tropical Ford assuming we would get the same service-AND WE DID!!

We were greeted by one of your sales staff who was so nice to us. He introduced us to his sales manager and together they both worked hard to give us the greatest experience ever.

My husband and I wanted to purchase our truck and not get a new vehicle and they asked if we were sure. I told them they could probably not give me a new truck for what I wanted to pay. (I WAS WRONG!)

While the sales man filled out the paper work, the manager went over to the computer to run some numbers. When he came back before I signed the paper work for my current truck the salesman asked I was sure I did not want a new vehicle, than showed me the numbers! I was blown away $100.00 less a month for a new vehicle and I would be able to purchase it and not lease! I was ecstatic. They showed me a Ford Explorer Sport Trac and I was like a kid in a candy store.

They took me for a test drive and I loved it! My husband was so excited about being able to have this without a lease and for $100.00 less then we were previously paying. We were convinced we wanted the new truck.

They processed the paper work and in no time we were in the finance office.

I do not remember the name of the finance manager but he treated us just as amazing! He took the time to talk to us and go over the paper work in complete detail. I did no have this when I purchased my first Ford. He showed us things we did not know about when looking to finance a car. He made us feel so comfortable about the decision we were making.

Thank you so much all of you have made this experience so great for me and my husband. My dad and sister are looking to trade their Ford’s in and I have already told them not to even think about going anywhere else besides Tropical Ford.

I have seen your posters around your dealership offering your assistance for people that aren’t treated like family. If we have a problem, you offer your assistance to make things right.

Well this letter is not about any of that. This letter is to express my appreciation of your employee Mike Kornikowski. For the past two years I have been coming to Mike for my company car servicing, not all were a simple oil change. When I’ve had questions or concerns he has stepped up. He has been as responsive as I can ask, given the fact most times he has a dozen things on his plate. Even before you started this program of customer satisfaction, Mike excelled at the task.

I wanted to personally drop you a note about the job Mike does day in and day out for he seems to carry the same attention to customers that you personally offer to do. Today in business all we ever hear are the gripes. He is to be complimented.

I am the guy that drives the blue Ford Taurus that you know by name as I pull up. I periodically need shuttle rides, sometimes even after the last scheduled ride has gone out. I am the one who usually doesn’t have an appointment but you find a way to fit me in and get my car back the same day. You also helped me when I needed one more thing checked before I picked up the car. You answer my questions and deal with my concerns. You even call me back with a quote and say when I can pick the car up. That’s impressive to me!

Mike, I thank you for the excellent service I have received for Tropical Ford. I applaud your above and beyond approach to getting the job done. You and your technicians have kept me on the road in a car that is safe because it has been well maintained. Thank you!

Dear Tropical Ford,

This letter is long over due. My son and I purchased a 2005 Mustang GT for him from Tropical Ford after visiting several other dealerships. The selling point was the service and up front direct information given us by your/our sales representative Cindy Shaw.

As I previously stated we had visited other dealerships in our efforts to buy a Mustang GT, two dealerships in Orlando area, one in Bristol, TN, and one in Rock Island, IL. The two out of state dealerships could only show us a Mustang GT previously sold and were not able to order us a new on because their sales volume, or something like that , was not great enough. I never did quite understand that reasoning but I happened twice. The two other dealerships in Orlando just did not want to work with us and insisted on pushing their floor models on us. They also had an incredible markup on the Mustang GT.

My son happened to visit your dealership and as he said was treated like a real person and not an annoying kid looking at toys. After he talked with Cindy Shaw he called me to come over and we sat down and ordered this new Mustang GT. He loves the car and has said many times, “I’m living the life, going to college on a baseball scholarship and driving the sharpest car on campus.”

In closing let me say the service after the sale as been great. We discovered a nick in the wheel and a new one was ordered and replaced within day. Oil changes in less them 30 minutes, can’t beat it. We will be back.

I recently brought my 2006 Ford Focus into your service dept. to have my alternator and

left blinker light replaced. The serivce personel were fast and efficient. I always bring my

car into Tropical Ford for all my service needs and they are all great and competent people.
